Dr. James Jessen holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now known as Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington, Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate studies at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin where he holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Med. Dr. James also minored in environmental studies during his time there. Dr. James treats many patients with both chiropractic and exercise care. He believes preventative health care is much more cost effective than corrective health care. He treats a range of patients anywhere from 1 week old infants to 90+ year old grandparents as well as everyone in between. He also enjoys working with athletes to help them achieve their optimal performance. He believes a properly functioning nervous system combined with good nutrition allows the body to reach its upmost potential. Dr. James has a unique multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of neuromuscular skeletal injuries by incorporating the expertise of varied professions from; personal trainers, physical therapists, medical doctors, massage therapists and chiropractors. He sees patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel, low back pain, sciatica, digestive issues, asthma, neck pain, torticollis, headaches, colic and many other conditions. Dr. James is married to Ashley and has two sons, Mason and Hunter and a daughter Maddison. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and kids, adventuring in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing and coaching baseball and helping with our local community service needs.
